Jose Mourinho explained about his inexperienced Manchester United line-up that far from ideal for their current match
Mourinho said that his young player that set to face CP aren't ready for this weekend's to play on their best.
Three days before the Europa League final against Ajax Amsterdam, the injury takes Red Devils will go through the motions at Old Trafford as the Premier League comes to an underwhelming conclusion on their side.
Jose Mourinho said that his motive to play a weakened side against Sam Allardyce's Palace on Sunday in a bid to keep his players fit and ready for Stockholm.

According to Mourinho, Pereira, O'Hara, Demetri, McTominay, Harrop, Willock, Dearnley and 16-year-old midfielder Angel Gomes will all be involved on Sunday.
the Portuguese said: "All together? No. When we asked about his young players were ready.
"I think we need someone in the middle with a good dynamic structure, an experienced structure, and a good structure, I think, yes. I think lots of them together, nope."
Mourinho confirmed if Axel Tuanzebe and 19-year-old defenders Tim Fosu-Mensah, back after a shoulder injury, and will be playing on Sunday - a bold, callow line-up borne out of necessity.
Mourinho says "The best thing i need to do is to save them to give them better conditions for this Wednesday game,"
"It is the only positive thing i can say.
"Of course individually for the kids, I think it will be a great experience: Old Trafford, Premier League, Crystal Palace, last match of the season. I think something like this for the kids will be a big occasion, it will always be good test and experience for them.
"But I think the best debut for a young player is in the middle of an experienced structure, where he can be supported.
"To play so many youngers at the same game,to be honest, I don't think it's good for us.
"Obviously there is a big distance of quality, strength, experience between us to CP players had.
"It's better to give them test like I gave to Axel to face Reading, to Joel to face Wigan - or a big match, but for one player each.
"With so many at the same time, I think they really need my guidance, Nicky Butt's guidance (and) supporters to know that the difficulty of the job they have, because it will not be an simple task for them."
It will not just be these youngsters face against Palace as Mourinho confirmed £89million signing Paul Pogba will start after missing the past two matches following the death of his father Fassou on this Friday by 79 age.
"Paul is tough," the United manager says. "Strong guy with strong mentality too.
"He is learning how to live better after his father passed away, but he is tough one, and he knows he needs to be ready for next Sunday because he hasn't played or trained for a long time and he needs these minutes on the pitch. He will face against Palace."
Marouane Fellaini is having a hamstring injury assessed, while Chris Smalling is set to be fit for Wednesday's final despite a "small problem" keeping him out against Palace.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw and Ashley Young are definitely out of the Europa League final, with Mourinho bemoaning United's injury situation when previewing the Ajax clash.
